Responsibilities include: managing a staff of Product Managers to achieve top-line growth through new product acquisition and delivery for both digital and print products.

Requirements:
- Previous inside sales experience
- Bachelor's Degree. Advanced degree a plus
- Minimum 8-10 years experience in a product management leadership role for a successful publishing, software, or internet company
- Proven track record managing product life cycles, creating business plans and product specs
- Excellent analytic, strategic, conceptual, communication (oral & written), persuasion and presentation skills
- Experience in education market is preferred

This challenging and rewarding position offers a wide variety of tasks and responsibilities that include cold calling, territory management and customer service. Sales Consultant
A career opportunity exists at School Specialty Planning and Student Development selling to the K-12 market. This position offers a growth opportunity for a goal-oriented, client-focused, outside sales professional who demonstrates excellent communication skills, attention to detail and a high level of personal initiative.
Requirements:
- Daily travel within the given territory for face-to-face visits with decision makers, including regular overnight and occasional weekend trips
- A minimum of four to eight years recent educational sales experience is mandatory
- 4 year college degree
This position offers a base salary, expenses, and the opportunity for an annual performance bonus. The successful sales consultant, who can make the necessary time commitment, has a strong opportunity to realize both personal and monetary rewards.
Product, market and technology training is provided.
