MPD Coordinator

We are looking for a positive, self motivated Marketing and Product Development Coordinator to provide administrative support for the department and direct support to all department managers. Responsibilities include maintenance of calendars, taking minutes, working with third parties and assisting with travel and logistics. Preferred qualifications include:

  • 3+ years in administrative and/or executive assistant position
  • Prior experience managing contracts and invoices
  • Associates degree or related education
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to prioritize and multitask.
  • Able to develop spreadsheets and tools for tracking projects
  • Able to organize financial and strategic documents for multiple purposes
  • Able to develop PowerPoint presentations for use in corporate meetings and sales conferences
  • Knowledge of publishing environment is a plus
  • Able to work with minimal supervision.
  • Able to work individually and as part of a team.

Inside Sales Manager

We are looking for a key contributor to our future success! The Inside Sales Manager will drive results for our inside selling and higher education sales groups, from both a strategic and operational capacity.

The selected candidate will: develop and implement Higher Education and inside sales strategy with a focus on profitable, aggressive revenue growth in those segments of the business; directly manage, coach and motivate sales staff to help them achieve their goals; develop and implement training programs; and work cross-functionally with other departments to identify and position products in the higher education and other market segments.

The leader we are looking for will have a Bachelors degree, at least 5 years of direct selling experience with a consultative sales approach, and at least 4 years in managing a high performance inside sales team. Other requirements include strong written and verbal communication skills, the ability to coach and motivate a team, a strong focus on customer service and a high degree of professionalism.

Sales Consultant

Career opportunities exist at Premier, a member of the School Specialty Family, selling to the K-12 market. Premier serves the education marketplace by providing schools with products and programs, which help students succeed through the development of personal, social and organizational skills.

This position offers a growth opportunity for a goal-oriented, client-focused, outside sales professional who demonstrates: excellent communication skills, attention to detail and a high level of personal initiative.

Daily travel and face-to-face visits with school administrators and other key decision makers is required. This position offers a base salary, with the opportunity for an annual performance bonus. The successful sales consultant, who can make the necessary time commitment, has a strong opportunity to realize both personal and monetary rewards.

Greater consideration will be given to candidates with two plus years recent outside sales experience and/or a background in education. A college degree is preferred.

Product, market and technology training is provided.
